12 weeks of Christmas: Week 4

Hi Stampers, Crafters and Blog Followers,

My apologies for my tardiness in this post, we had a BIG weekend celebrating my daughter's 2nd birthday, I show you her card soon and what I made her! But first, a Christmas card...

So simple, which is what we want of a Christmas card. This one opens from the left hand side, just to be a bit tricky and the scallop circle holds it closed. Decorated with a Delightful Decoration 3D ornament, sorry that stamp set has retired. It's my favourite Christmas set still... I will show you something current soon, but I love the stamp set I simply had to share this one with you. Yes the DSP I've used it also retired and the sentiment, but at least the colours are current! Oh well, if you like it so much you'll just have to contact me so we can make a date and make some together.
Speaking of a card making session, I am looking at a Thursday night class in November at my place around 7ish to make a few Christmas cards. Places are limited and I already have a few names pending the date. More details will be emailed to my customers, so if you're even a little bit interested let me know so I can email you all the details very soon.
Keep leaving your mark,
Brooke

25% off 25 Stamp Sets!

Hi Stampers, Crafters and Blog Followers,

It's a deal you simply cannot resist... 25% off. Here's the online shop link to see them better (hopefully!)
http://www3.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ItemList.aspx?categoryid=821

Stampin Up are celebrating 25 years. Wow! What an achievement (not that long in Australia though.). And they want to celebrate; hence why there has been so many 25 sales! But this one is the best one I think I have ever seen! There are some great sets at amazing prices...

There's Hearts A Flutter, Gorgeous Grunge, Zoo Babies. There are some greetings and even Christmas ones. Let me know ASAP which ones you'd like - if we get enough orders we can share the hostess benefits too!

And just to make this an even better deal, I have put a little mystery pack together with some paper, envelopes, ink and ribbon for ONE lucky customer. All you have to do is purchase one of these stamp sets and you receive one entry, buy 2, get two entires, buy 25, 25 entries. THEN, if you get a friend on board, for every stamp set they purchase, you get another entry too! BUT do hurry, this offer is only available for a week.

So there really is no excuse, get stampin so you can leave your mark!

12 Weeks of Chirstmas: Washi Tape Candle Week 3

Hi Stampers, Crafters and Blog Followers,

Here's a quick and easy gift for you. It's so cheap too! A church candle with some Washi Tape wrapped around it. I do love this, but I fell in love with the Washi Tape as soon as it arrived in that big box!

I also have another candle technique that I have shown some of you before. The tissue paper heat set onto the candle, another simple yet so effective.

If you'd like to decorate a candle for someone special, I'm more than happy to help, just contact me. Or if you need some supplies - happy to help with that too. If you make some of your own, I'd love to see a picture to see what you've come up with.

Next week - let's start on those cards!

Brooke

12 Weeks of Christmas: Week 2

Hi there Stampers, Crafters and Blog Followers,

Back again. This time with a cute little gift bag with a tag. It's really quite simple. It uses the Big Shot's Top Note Die. I love this die, it really is so versatile.

I think that the Glimmer Paper also really adds to this one. Look at those cute little elf shoes and his little hat!

Want to make one but don't have the stuff and don't want to leave your house? Contact me for a kit to make 2 gift bags, posted to you... just put it altogether!

Keep leaving your mark,
Brooke

12 Weeks of Christmas - Week 1

Hi there Stampers, Crafters and Blog Followers,

You may or may not really want to know that there are about 12 weeks left until Christmas. Doesn't sound like a lot does it. Plenty of time really! For the next twelve weeks I am going to post some things that you might like to make (or buy from me if you don't want to make yourself) for your Christmas. Yes there will be cards and other Christmas things that I think you will enjoy.

But since the first thing I think of when getting ready for Christmas is CHRISTMAS TREE, oh and then I think of things to give people... so here's one that meets both of them! A glass bauble with the glitter on the inside! How clever is that? Just trying to help keep the mess away! And you can personalise it using the Versa Mark marker and your favourite colour embossing powder.

I'm more than happy to help you make one or two or however many you think you might need. Please contact me. Hopefully I can quickly find you some glass baubles too so you can get started ASAP.

As a gift you bauble will need a box and it works as a storage box as well as your gift wrapping! 2 in 1! You really can't go wrong with this one!. It's a really simple box.

I have used my favourite DSP which is now retired but there are many out there to use, the best part about using Stampin Up is that everything co-ordinates - I've used Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Very Vanilla.

I made a few and how cool do they look together? Like I said, if you're interested in making your own personalised baubles and gift boxes please let me know, I'm more than happy to help.

Keep leaving your mark,
Brooke
